Honeywell Ultraviolet Treatment System
Honeywell’s UV Air Treatment systems utilize Ultraviolet-C (UVC) that alters and disables the Deoxyribo Nucleic Acid of the microbial cell so it won’t be able to reproduce. The Honeywell UV 100C Ultraviolet Air Treatment Unit is a high energy ultraviolet light system that is installed in the HVAC ducts to kill airborne micro-organism contaminants in the air. It does this by destroying bioaerosols in the air moving through the air conditioning system. The UV100C Ultraviolet Air Treatment duct is available in three models: a single-lamp, return air duct unit, a two-lamp, premium high-efficiency return air duct unit and air conditioner coil irradiation unit. This proven, powerful and safe solution is clean as it does not use any chemicals or ozone. The UV coil irradiation eliminates majority of surface mold and microorganisms when this system is added to your existing air-conditioning unit and duct systems.
